TAFE NSW will offer a limited number of scholarships to international students in Semester 2, 2021.

These scholarships are applicable only to those new to TAFE students commencing their study online from offshore or face to face from onshore in Semester 2, 2021.

About TAFE NSW Scholarships for International Students

  • TAFE NSW is committed to helping international students develop specialized skills and attain the qualifications they need, to achieve their personal and professional goals.
  • There are limited scholarships available to eligible applicants who want to pursue their education at TAFE NSW in Australia.
  • Each awarded scholarship has a total value of $2,000 (AUD), which will be applied as $1,000 (AUD) credits against your course tuition fees in Semester 2, 2021 and Semester 1, 2022.

*The scholarship amount is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

TAFE International Scholarships

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must meet all three of the following requirements.

  • Applicants must be:
    – A new international student who is enrolled, or intending to enroll, at TAFE NSW in an approved VET or higher education course which has a minimum duration of 1 year and commences in Semester 2, 2021.
    – Or a current international student, enrolled at TAFE NSW, who has completed a course and is enrolled in a new approved VET or higher education course that has a minimum duration of 1 year and commences in Semester 2, 2021.
    * NOTE: However, the applicant must not be a current student who is continuing to study in Semester 2, 2021, as part of a packaged course offering. ELICOS-only students, or students who have packaged with ELICOS commencing in Semester 2, 2021, are also ineligible.
  • Applicants must meet all of the applicable TAFE NSW enrolment requirements, including visa requirements.

Unless otherwise approved by TAFE NSW, applicants must commence their approved VET or higher education course in Semester 2, 2021, and cannot defer their commencement date.
