Vocational Education and Training (VET) Information Session

Charles Darwin University (CDU) is one of the only Australian dual-sector universities offering both Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education courses. By studying a CDU VET course, students can expand their options, gain practical work skills, industry experience and build new pathways into their future career or further study.

CDU has arranged an online information session about CDU VET courses and packages on Wednesday 31 March 2021, from 3pm – 4pm (Australian Central Standard Time). During this session, attendees will learn more about:

Education courses with a practical component (Semester 2 2021 intake)

There are some courses at CDU that contain a practical component (eg. placements) that prevents students from completing the entire course offshore. Offshore applicants for these courses will need to be aware that if they are unable to travel to Australia due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, they may not be able to complete their course in the timeframes outlined in their offer. Applicants for the Bachelor of Education courses and Master of Teaching should consider this while submitting their application. If border restrictions are still in place for Semester 2 and applicants are unable or unwilling to enrol offshore, they will have the option to defer to another intake or withdraw with a full refund.
