Pearson English Test (PTE)
What is PTE?
Pearson English Test (PTE) is a newly accepted international Test for English which is a computer- based Test for abroad education and immigration. The test evaluates a person’s writing, reading, listening, and speaking abilities. PTE is accepted worldwide for study visa and for visa applications for work and migration in Australia, UK, AND New Zealand.
Why takes PTE?
This test is primarily conducted for students who are non-native English speakers and wish to study in foreign countries. The candidates are evaluated in their abilities to speak, read, write, and comprehend the language.
What distinguishes PTE from other English proficiency tests??
The main distinction is the scoring methods and the results. PTE announces the results in a much shorter time frame. because the PTE tests are computerized, the results are much more accurate and faster than other tests. This makes the PTE test popular among students who are in hurry.
PTE Eligibility
There are no such academic requirements for the PTE exam. But the applicant/ candidate must be at least 16 years old. If the candidate is under the age of 18, a letter from a parent or guardian is required.

PTE Exam pattern
The PTE exam structure is made up of three modules. It includes Speaking, writing, reading, and listening sections. The time allowed for PTE Speaking and Writing is 7-93 minutes, 32-40 minutes for Reading, and 45-57 minutes for listening. A PTE lasts approximately three hours, making it one of the shortest language exams available. The PTE syllabus includes the following language aspects. The Speaking and Writing module include a Personal Introduction, Essay, Summarize Written Text, Answer Short Question, and much more. Fill in the blanks, Re-order paragraphs, and other multiple-choice questions will be included in the PTE reading section. Writing from dictation, highlighting incorrect words, fill in the blanks, and selecting the missing word are all questions on the PTE listening section.
PTE Exam Preparation:
To prepare for the PTE, one must thoroughly understand the PTE syllabus and exam pattern. Preparation for the PTE Listening, PTE Reading, PTE Writing, and PTE Speaking must be completed in the same manner as far the other languages Tests. PTE Registration:
To register for the PTE, you must first create an account with Pearson and book your exam. Personal information, contact information, and additional information must be submitted before creating an account. To schedule an exam, you must log in to your Pearson account and then book a date and test center near you.

The PTE exam’s USP is that results are available within 5 business days of the test. PTE scores are the fastest of any English language test taken around the world. PTE scores range from 10-90 for all four modules. You can also select institutions you want your results sent to.
