An English language test called IELTS is used for studying, migrating, or working. IELTS is recognized by more than 11,000 organizations worldwide, including colleges, schools, and immigration services.
IELTS test types
IELTS includes two types: Academic and General Training. Your proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, and listening in English is evaluated from both exams.
For people wishing to enroll in a university or environment where English is the primary language, the IELTS Academic test is appropriate (higher education). For professional registration, you can also take IELTS Academic. You have the option of taking the IELTS Academic on paper, online, or at home or another appropriate location.
IELTS General Training
IELTS General Training is appropriate for applicants who want to study below the degree level. This includes a school or college with an English-speaking community. It may also be used for jobs or other forms of employment training.
Also necessary for immigration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK is IELTS General Training. The test covers common English language abilities that you’ll need in social and professional settings. IELTS General Training is only offered on computer and paper testing.
Which IELTS test type is right for me?
You should take the IELTS Academic test if you intend to study abroad in an English-speaking country. The IELTS General Training test is recommended for immigration or employment purposes.
What IELTS score do I need?
The better your IELTS score, shows the more effective and proficient your English communication skills are. The minimum IELTS score criteria vary depending on the institution, university, workplace, or immigration organisation. Whether you want to work or study in the country will determine the score you need.
Pearson English Test (PTE) is a newly accepted international Test for English which is a computer- based Test for studying in abroad and immigration. The test evaluates a person’s writing, reading, listening, and speaking abilities. PTE is accepted worldwide for study visa and for visa applications for work and migration in Australia, UK, AND New Zealand. PTE scores are the fastest of any English language test taken around the world and are available within 5 business days of the test. PTE scores range from 10-90 for all four modules.
What distinguishes PTE from other English proficiency tests?
The main distinction is the scoring methods and the results. PTE announces the results in a much shorter time frame. because the PTE tests are computerized, the results are much more accurate and faster than other tests. This makes the PTE test popular among students who are in hurry.
There are no such academic requirements for the PTE exam. But the applicant/ candidate must be at least 16 years old. If the candidate is under the age of 18, a letter from a parent or guardian is required. There are no Educational Qualification criteria. There is no limit on the number of attempts for a PTE test. Candidates from any country of the world can appear for the PTE test.
PTE Exam Preparation:
To prepare for the PTE, one must thoroughly understand the PTE syllabus and exam pattern. Preparation for the PTE Listening, PTE Reading, PTE Writing, and PTE Speaking must be completed in the same manner as far the other languages Tests.
